New Construction- 70,000SF of educational facility/ LEED project comprised of 3 wings- staff offices, classrooms, lecture hall, seminar rooms, and cafeteria. The innovative design included dramatic cantilevers, a metal and stone light spire, underground fiberglass ductwork system and a central steel and structural glass cub. Additionally, the courtyard and plaza areas were constructed as a green roof system. This unique project received numerous awards for both design and construction, including New York Construction magazine’s Project of the Year for Higher Education. Originally designed to be LEED Certified facility, through the efforts of Worth, its contractors and project team, the building achieved LEED Gold Certification.
